Private Child’Space Sessions

In private Child’Space sessions, the specific needs of each baby and the questions and concerns of parents can be addressed.  Sessions on tummy-time are possible for those unable to attend the workshops.  “Well-baby” visits are available for those who would like periodic advice on supporting their baby’s development.  The method is very effective in addressing a wide range of concerns including:

Tummy-Time • Late crawling or walking & other milestones  •  Skipped crawling • 

Difficulty with walking •  “Low tone” or “high tone”  •  Torticollis  •  Plagiocephaly  • 

Club foot  •  Feeding issues  •  Cerebral palsy  •  Autism  •  Spina Bifida  • 

Many others

Feldenkrais sessions (the method that Child’Space is rooted in) are also extremely helpful for new parents, or expectant moms, experiencing pains (most commonly back, wrist, shoulder, neck, knee) that often come with the increased demands of parenting.  Feldenkrais sessions can help parents adjust their posture and movement to meet the increased physical demands of parenting.
