Child’Space Research Study Underway
Dan Rindler, director of Child’Space NYC, is pleased to announce the acceptance by Vassar College of a research study on Child’Space – the Chava Shelhav Method. Led by Child’Space Practitioner and Vassar Professor of Developmental Psychology, Dr. Carolyn Palmer, the study will look at the efficacy of a Child’Space group lesson for parents and infants. The program will take place over several months this spring and summer, with parent/child sessions led by Dan Rindler, Director of Child’Space NYC, and held at The Park Slope Feldenkrais Center, 426 4th avenue between 7th and 8th streets.
Each family will participate in two sessions held one week apart. One of the two sessions will include a group class taught by Dan Rindler, Certified Child’Space practitioner at no charge. All sessions will be video recorded for the purposes of the study and parents will be asked to sign a video release form. Parents of babies who will be 2-4 months old on the dates below are welcome to register below.
